At Munas Heart Nursing, our skilled nursing visits are provided in the comfort of a patient’s home by a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under RN supervision. These visits are designed to ensure safe, compassionate, and comprehensive medical care right where your loved one feels most comfortable.
Coordinated Care for Peace of Mind
We work directly with your child’s physician, specialists, and case managers to create and follow a well-coordinated care plan.
Nurses regularly communicate progress updates to doctors, pharmacists, and medical supply vendors to ensure consistency and accuracy of care.
We also coordinate with equipment vendors and pharmacists to ensure medications, supplies, and medical equipment are available and functioning properly at home.
Family & Caregiver Support
At Munas Heart Nursing, we know that families and caregivers play a vital role. That’s why we:
Provide clear information about the disease process, what symptoms to watch for, and when to contact a physician.
Offer step-by-step training so parents and guardians feel confident in helping with care between nursing visits.
Prepare families for what changes to expect and how to respond as the patient’s condition evolves.
What Our Skilled Nurses Do
During each visit, our nurses provide thorough physical assessments, which may include:
Monitoring vital signs, respiratory status, and oxygen levels
Managing wounds, colostomies, ileostomies, and catheters
Tracking and supporting patients with cancer care needs
Checking blood sugar levels and managing diabetes
Administering tube feedings and medications (including IVs and injections)
Providing respiratory support such as ventilator care
Offering education and step-by-step training to caregivers and families
